The Lord is near to the heartbroken And He saves those who are crushed in spirit (contrite in heart, truly sorry for their sin).
God is such a compassionate Lord. Because Jesus once walked the earth and experienced the walk of man, He understands every hurt and pain you will ever experience. When we cry out to Him in our weaknesses, heartaches, and pains, and lean into Him for healing He will answer. He knows and cares about the smallest details of your life if you would simply welcome Him in. He is waiting to be given permission to restore you and heal those broken pieces that life, yourself, and people have caused. His love is endless and incomparable to any earthly love experience. He knows how to rescue you from the places that keep you in a cycle of hurt and bondage and put you on a track to abundant life. He is waiting for you to surrender to His way. Those that cry out to the Lord in true repentance are saved from all their distress. God knows all and sees all. He already knows your struggles. He is waiting for you to let Him into every area of your life. The moment you come to the end of yourself, recognizing your need for the Savior, is when He rushes in to clean things up for you.
